2018年度税制改正で焦点となっている所得税の控除の見直しを巡り、政府・与党は高所得者の基礎控除（一律38万円）の控除額を減額し、年収2500万〜3000万円より高収入の人はゼロとする方向で検討に入った。

In view of the revision for reduction of the income tax allowance, the government and ruling parties have started examining cuts in basic income tax deductions, which is 380 thousand yen per person, for high-income individuals who earn more than between 25 and 30 million yen.
If this happens, those individuals cannot take advantage of a full 380 thousand yen basic deduction from their income.

三菱UFJ インドネシア大手銀に出資へ 11月09日

三菱東京UFJ銀行は8日、インドネシア大手銀のダナモン銀行の株式を4割取得し、持ち分法適用会社にする検討に入った。
出資額は2000億円規模で、将来的に子会社化を目指す。東南アジア最大の人口を抱える同国で金融業務の足場を築き、高い成長を取り込む。
三菱UFJにとっては東南アジアでの大型買収の総仕上げで、海外で稼ぐ利益の割合は邦銀として初めて5割を超える見通しだ。

The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Bank(BTMU) has started examining the possibility of acquiring 40% of Bank Danamon Indonesia, making it one of its equity method affiliates.
BTMU, which has been strengthening its financial businesses in countries with higher economic growth, will invest about two billion dollars in order to acquire the majority of ownership of the bank in Indonesia, whose population is the largest in South East Asia.
This large acquisition would be the final one in the region by BTMU, which will be able to make more than 50% of its profits from its overseas businesses, as the first case for a Japanese bank.
